Sylver Starr (off stage name Sari Starr) creates music that opens portals—crafted for altered states, deep reflection, and the reclamation of self. Her sound lives at the intersection of Spirit Rock and Music as Medicine, blending raw, live instrumentation with layered electronic textures to deliver an experience that’s both primal and otherworldly.
A multi-instrumentalist, she plays guitar, piano, Native American flute, dabbles with harp and harmonica, layers in percussion, and brings the precision of a trained sound meditation ceremonialist. This breadth of sound allows her to create immersive sonic landscapes that engage both the body and the spirit.
From the burning intensity of The World is on Fire (launching Aug 20th) to the dreamlike pull of Déjà Vu, her music moves like a current—drawing listeners into a visceral, emotional, and spiritual experience. It’s music built to be felt in the body, to stir the soul, and to awaken the parts of us that remember why we’re here.
Sylver Starr is currently recording an EP in her newly created genre, Spirit Rock, and is also birthing a medicine music for mushroom journeys album, both set to emerge within the year.
Beyond her work as a musician, she is a ceremonialist, the creator of Mush Love Initiation—a facilitator training that includes eight weeks dedicated to The Medicine of Music—an entrepreneur, and the steward of a farm in Hawaii.
She chose the name Sylver after a deeply intense medicine journey in honor of her grandmother Sylvia Starr.

Fusing the raw edge of Spirit Rock with celestial textures and ancient feminine transmission, Sylver Starr births an entirely new genre of sonic alchemy. Her voice moves like prayer through distortion — a sacred marriage of chaos and devotion.
From the anthemic fire of “The World Is on Fire” to the sensual ascension of “Higher & Higher”, the cosmic landing of “Mothership”, and the ecstatic prayer of “Hallelujah Shechina”, this body of work calls forth the listener’s own mythic essence — that place inside where the human and divine finally meet.

I started this course as a complete beginner. I even felt trapped from enjoyment because of my relationship with music. In this course, I learned a deeper appreciation for my relationship with music and body. I knew when I started that it was going to challenge me and yes it did.
